Voluntary Control of Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Pupils, and Piloerection

There are those who can voluntarily-at will- on command- induce these changes along the spine, shoulders, head, and increase heart rate, blood pressure, and pupillary response. The action is instantaneous.

If you are one of these people who is able to control your heart rate as easily as blinking your eye please do read some of these posts within. If you can control your blood pressure, pupillary response and goosebumps (piloerection), perhaps you would post this as well.

If you don't know if you can do this, you likely cannot; it is not taught. This is an ability that would intrigue and frighten the individual a great deal. There is no known explanation for this in the medical literature. This ability will look exactly like the Fright or Flight mechanism in humans, but is under voluntary control.
